Kenalog Shot Side Effects

I have always been an active person involved in many diffrent activities and played many sports. Back in November I recieved a steriod shot to help with my Eczema. I thought everything would be okay because my doctor reassured me that this shot was "safe". A few days after I recieved the shot I began to feel fatigued and just not myself. I thought I was just getting sick so I went to my primary doctor and was treated for a cold.

A few more days went by and my symptoms had not subsided. I went back to my primary physician only to find out that nothing was wrong. Skipping a head to a month after recieving the shot I had went to the emergency rooom 3x's due to pain in my upper abdomen. The ER physician thought I just had gastroenteritis and sent home. The next time I went they thought I had a really bad kidney infection and the third time I went they thought it was a kidney stone.

After not getting any answers I finally went to see a rheumatologist because my physician thought it could Rheumatoid Arthritis because my mom suffers from this disease. I was basically told that it was not RA and I was just over weight and i was then sent home. I then went to about 11 more diffrent specialists and still all my tests came back negative.

After many tests and feeling like a human pin cushion I still had no answers. My family and I were debating on the fact if I should go to the Cleveland Clinic since I wasn't getting any answers here. But before we made that decision I went to one last specialist. But of course with my luck all my tests were negative.

Since then the only explanition is the steriod shot that has caused my problems. If you are even told that you need a steroid shot my advice to you is to say no thank you and ask what other options you have.
